Even though the days are getting longer, Winter is still a time to slow down and conserve energy. Dark oolong, Hong Cha, Shou Puer and aged teas of all kind are fantastic this time of year. They add warm, grounding, and a sense of calm.
For this Class we will be delving deeper in the realms of Dark teas. A Category known as Hei Cha. These teas come from a variety of provinces in China and can be quite different an experience both in taste and aroma.
Many of you may not have even heard of these teas but their history is quite long. These teas not only have rich flavors but also rich traditions in Malaysia, Anhui and Hunan.
Come embrace the darkness to get through the last chunk of winter so that when spring arrives we feel refreshed and ready to tackle the world (or at least fresh, spring teas)
