The residents of Creekside are hosting a Food Drive on Halloween night. Donations of non-perishable foods will benefit the Hinesburg Food Shelf. Collection bins will be located at 68 Farmall Drive (the first house closest to Kaleys Way).
As you may or may not know, Creekside is a very busy Halloween hot spot with some households receiving over 500 trick-or-treaters! This year, the residents of Creekside requested, and were approved by the town, to close off our streets from 6 pm to 8 pm on Halloween night. The streets will be closed at the Farmall Drive stop sign in Creekside so as not to hinder traffic along Farmall Drive and Kaleys Way. To be clear, the portion of Farmall Drive along Hinesburg Center Phase 1 would NOT be closed. Creekside residents, guests of residents, and persons with special needs would be allowed vehicular access. There should be adequate parking for visitors at Kinney Drugs (recommended), the fire/police station, and the Firehouse Plaza (as a last resort).
Thank you,
Daniel Jacobs
President, Creekside Homeowners Association.
