Hinesburg, VT – A Regional Concerns Meeting on the project listed below will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 beginning at 7:00 PM at the Hinesburg Town Hall located at 10632 VT Route 116. The meeting will be held by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) and the Town of Hinesburg.
Bridge replacement project:
• Hinesburg BF 021-1(35), VT Route 116, Bridge 24. A Cattle-Pass.
The preferred alternatives includes a replacement, with a road closure and temporary detour; and an abandonment of the structure, with traffic maintained via short term single lane closures.
The intent of the meeting is to provide an overview of this bridge replacement project to Town Officials, local residents and businesses, emergency services and other interested parties. There will be a review of the existing site conditions, proposed work, detour, and overall schedule followed by a question and answer period. Representatives from both VTrans and the Town of Hinesburg will be available at the meeting to address public concerns about the projects.
A copy of the Scoping Report for this project may be seen at the office of the Town Clerk in Hinesburg, Vermont or at the Structures Section of the Agency of Transportation’s office in Montpelier, Vermont.
