Our wonderful Waterbury Winterfest is well underway with our first weekend complete!! The weather is cooperating and it’s beginning to look a lot like WINTER!! The Snow Ball Dance at the Country Club of Vermont was outstanding event again. Local Waterbury band Still Kickin was on fire and so were the guests; dancing until after 11 pm!!!
Sunday was packed with fun for our participants with the 5k Run, Connector Trail Descent, Capture the Flag and Women’s Intro to Hockey!! Too much fun!!
Our Day 5 lineup is consistent, includes something for everyone!!
6:00 PM Bridgeside Books – Shakespheare Readers Theater – Classic comedy, Loves Labour Lost will be performed; no rehearsal or props or costumes needed. Roles will be assigned upon arrival!
6:00 PM Zenbarn – Open Mic/Poetry Slam – Bands will be playing, spoken word art is in the house, share a song, tell a story, slam a poem… very few rules!!
8:00 PM – 10:30 PM Blackback Pub - VT Beer Quiz – Come experience a beer tasting like you never have before! Blackback Pub is known for their beer selection and you won’t be disappointed. Winner of the contest receives a $50 gift certificate. Cost is $15/person/flight.
