Harvest Dinner: Middlesex by the Numbers

Past event
Nov 2, 2013, 5:30 to 7:30 PM

Dear Neighbors,
I hope everyone will sign up to attend the upcoming Fall Harvest Dinner Saturday Nov. 2 at 5:30PM at Rumney School. It will be a great night out with your neighbors for a delicious local meal created by New England Culinary Institute chef André Burnier. This event benefits the local foods program at Rumney and the Middlesex Food Shelf. As a Food Shelf volunteer, I can tell you it's THE most important fundraiser we do all year.

Here are a few numbers that help show how the Middlesex Food Shelf serves our needy neighbors:
-- 344: Number of people the Middlesex Food Shelf served in the three months of July, August, and September
--125: Total households served during these 3 months
-- 25: Average increase in people served over the previous quarter's weekly average
-- 8.5: Average increase in households served during these 3 months.
--100%: How much we hope you'll attend the Fall Harvest Dinner, or use this reminder to make a contribution to this important community cause.

Find the registration form to sign up for the Fall Harvest Dinner at http://www.rumney.org Deadline extended! If you sign up after October 30th, please contact Liz Scharf, liz.scharf@gmail.com, 223-9189.

If you can't attend in person, we’ll miss you! If you can make a financial contribution, please send it to: Rumney School, 433 Shady Rill Road, Middlesex, VT, payable to Rumney School, referencing "Harvest Dinner" in the memo line.

Thank you!
