You may be surprised to learn that green burial is not an option under the current Vermont Law. This meeting in the East Montpelier Room of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library will include a screening of a short documentary about green burial and a brief discussion of what the barriers to green burial are in Vermont and how a bill currently in committee at the State House could change that. Presented by green burial advocate Michelle Acciavatti and wildlife biologist Carl Anderson there will be plenty of time for discussion and questions.
