Raise Up Rachel: A friend-raising fundraiser for the whole family The
silent auction just keep coming in, and now include: a sheepskin rug, an
astrology reading, a "Farm to Fork" dinner at Sandiwood Farm, hula hoops,
an Airbnb stay in Montpelier, income tax prep, a Waldorf doll, house
cleaning services, smoked fish, jewelry, a piano tuning, and local honey.
If you didn't get a chance to donate to the auction, then don't miss your
chance to bid!
Enjoy an evening of entertainment, a delicious dinner and dancing with old
friends and new, all while supporting a local family. Rachel Davey is a
mother of two young children, a small business owner in Hardwick, and a
vibrant and active member of the community. Her brain tumor has returned as a more aggressive type of cancer so she has decided to step up her game, too. This fundraiser has the specific goal of contributing to Rachel's treatments not covered by insurance, and helping her family replace lost income.
All are welcome on Saturday, January 28th at 5pm at the Cabot Town Hall
Tickets are available in advance at the Buffalo Mountain Co-op and at the
door for a suggested donation of $15 for adults and $5 for kids. This
includes a chili and cornbread dinner, and comedy and music entertainment
sure to delight the whole family.
