Consumer Night at the Vermont Farm Show – February 1
The 6th Annual Consumer Night at the Vermont Farm Show is right around the corner on Wednesday, February 1 from 4:00–7:00.
Join Vermont agricultural producers and members of the Vermont State Legislature for the Winter Buy Local Market and Capital Cook-Off. The Buy Local Market will feature over 50 vendors of Vermont food, wine, beer, sprits, textiles, and crafts. Enjoy free samples and support your local producers! For every $5 purchase you make at the market, you can enter the Consumer Night raffle to win a family membership to Shelburne Farms, tickets to the Vermont Cheesemakers Festival, tickets to Vermont Fresh Network’s Annual Forum Dinner, or a prize package from Ski Vermont including lift tickets.
Beginning at 5:15, watch teams from the Vermont State House, Senate, and Agency of Agriculture battle for culinary supremacy in the Capital Cook-Off, featuring surprise local ingredients. Try a sample of each team’s dish and vote for the Public Pick! The event and parking are free.
