Great fun concert for a terrific cause! Go back to your 1970's self or find out about 1970's music: Fleetwood Mac, Grateful Dead, Carole King, Reggae, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Stevie Wonder and you name it! There are Hardwick, Woodbury and Cabot members of this Barre Rock City Chorus.

In Barre at Barre Elk's Club (behind the Aldrich Library) Thursday @ 7:30 with "ROCK CITY" , Barre’s one and only Rock & Soul chorus with 35 singers and one rocking band! You are sure to be entertained; you may sing along; and you just might get out on the dance floor. Tickets: $10/person. All proceeds to benefit Circle (Formerly Battered Women's Services and Shelter).

So, Join us on THURSDAY, JANUARY 26th, 7:30 p.m., at the Barre Elks Lodge, 10 Jefferson Street in Barre for a great time and a great cause. Our mission is to serve the residents of Barre and Central Vermont through music by giving back to our community through our benefit concerts. To coincide with the Vermont Historical Society’s current exhibit “Freaks, Radicals & Hippies: Counterculture in 1970s Vermont”, the group will present an evening of songs from the seventies, in four part harmony, accompanied by a band of Central Vermont's finest rock musicians.
