The 11th Annual Mid-Winter Evening of Pan-Celtic Music & Dance takes place at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 273 VT Rte. 15 in Jericho, across from Clark’s Truck Center and Brown’s Trace Road. Begin time is 7:00 PM, this coming Saturday.
There is a long list of recognized, even famous(!) musicians participating, along with our local talent, Joanne & Terry Ranney: Ian MacHarg, a solo piper, composer and Piping educator; Mike MacNintch who plays a variety of bagpipes and is a piping instructor; John Guay (hammered dulcimer) and Vonnie Estes (piano) who play for contra and barn dances regularly in New England, NY and Quebec; Nancy Bakemeier, an ultimate fingers-flying fiddler. And of course the nearby Scottish dancers from the Heather Morris School of Dance.
