Some of you may have heard that Alburgh was awarded financial support to find out the best way to support families in our community. This is called the Promise Community Grant. A group of community members and community partners have volunteered to form and start building the Alburgh Promise Community. What a great opportunity to help bring our community together and learn more about our shared concerns for our community and how to make it better. It is our hope to get as much participation from the community as possible. We need everyone’s thoughts, ideas, and input, as we all figure out what would help our community the best!. As a first step we would like to invite everyone to the Alburgh Community Education Center on Saturday, January 21th @ 11:30 PM - 2 PM for information and discussion.
Pizza and Childcare will be provided. We look forward to seeing everyone there! So we know how much Pizza to get it would be great if you would let us know that you plan to attend, but if you forget please come anyway!!
