In a three month period in Vermont, from June thru August 2013 this year, there were 40 serious gun incidents. Five of those incidents were right here in Burlington! I have been a resident of Burlington for forty years and I am concerned. If you are too, plan to join your neighbors to hear experts in public health, domestic violence, mental illness, and Vermont's current gun laws to understand how we can better protect the safety of Vermonters and have a bright future free from gun violence.
