Come join us for a free presentation: "Building Sustainable Communities and Partnerships Half a World Away: Norwich University's work in Tanzania, East Africa and How You Can Get Involved!"

Upendo Mmoja, or, "One Love," is an organization consisting of farmers and artisans in Pommerin, Tanzania who set a goal to establish a residential and vocational training center in their village for orphaned youth in 2012. What they’ve created since – with the help of Rotary and students from Norwich University’s Rotaract Club – is a model for sustainable development that transcends traditional gender, age and cultural boundaries. Students and staff will present about their experience working with the Upendo Mmoja group in Tanzania and invite attendees to learn how they can also become involved in the partnership!
