The Town of Richmond has an opportunity to purchase the Andrews Forestland as a 428-acre Richmond Town Forest. Vermont Land Trust will be hosting a panel discussion for Richmond residents who want to learn more about town forest management from residents and professionals involved in the management of other town forests in Vermont. This panel will directly follow a special meeting to determine whether the Town Meeting vote regarding purchasing the Andrews Forestland as a Richmond Town Forest will happen by Australian ballot (beginning at 7:00 in the Town offices).
