This Saturday, January 21st, together with other organizations and people from around the state, the League of Women Voters will march down Main and State Streets in support of the Women’s March on Montpelier & Unity Rally in solidarity with the national Women’s March on Washington that same day.
Look for our sign and join us as we stand together for parity, equity, dignity, and justice for all women. You do not have to be a member of the League to participate in this all-inclusive event.
Line up begins at 1 p.m. at Montpelier High School ( 5 High School Drive. ) We strongly encourage you to carpool. We will march to the Statehouse lawn for the Unity Rally at 2 p.m. The Rally will feature speakers, art, music, and opportunities to get further involved.
