International Potluck & Latin Dance Night – Friday, January 27th at FMS
Enjoy a night out, delicious food and Latin dancing at the 2nd International Potluck & Latin Dance Night. Friday, January 27 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Founders. Please bring a dish to share. In addition, generous Essex restaurants are donating delicious dishes and the ETSD Cafeteria chefs will provide healthy and fresh dishes made with ingredients donated by Jericho Settlers Farms.
Performances will include ETSD talent: EES Music teacher Heather Nicasio and her husband, David Nicasio, are giving a Latin Dance demonstration and a lesson in meringue, a traditional dance originally from the Dominican Republic. In addition, ETSD parent Cindy Eun Rancourt will also perform with the Green Mountain Korean Traditional Percussion Sorimori.
There will be craft making and a traditional Indian henna artist, named Parvin, will be there to share the beautiful tradition.
The event is brought to us by the Essex Town PTO, Bonnie Szarkowski and the ETSD Food Services Staff and Chefs, and Morgan Rainville, the ETSD Farm To School Outreach Coordinator.
