Stress Management Class at Clais Elementary

Everybody has stress. Money, relationships, parenting...the list goes on and on. Our world is full of things that cause stress but, in our culture, admitting that you are having problems dealing with stress is the same as admitting weakness. This leads to a sense of loneliness, isolation and myriad health issues ranging from high blood pressure, insomnia, neck pain, tooth grinding and jaw clenching to harmful coping mechanisms like alcohol, tobacco, food and other substance abuses. No matter what your stresses are, you can take control of them right now and for good. It does not matter if you have tried meditation, yoga, or any other method and failed before. Different approaches work for different people and you can find something that will work for you.

Take control of your stress and improve the quality of your life and health. Dennis Seavey- Windsinger will be offering an eight-week, comprehensive Stress Management Class at the Calais Elementary School Library on Thursday evenings in February and March from 5:30 to 7:30. The cost is $80.00 for the full 8 weeks or $15.00 per individual class. You can preregister and reserve your spot by contacting the instructor directly at seavwindsingerllc@yahoo.com or by text/call at 802-522-8365.
