New Yoga Class coming soon: February 14th!!

Starting February 14th local yoga instructor, Bess Lewis, has been invited by several Wallingford residents to lead Kripalu Flow yoga classes at the Gilbert Hart Library from 5:30pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday evenings.

Classes will continue every week except the first Tuesday of the month.

The cost is $10 per class.

What to expect: Certified Yoga instructor, Bess Lewis, leads rejuvenating flow sequences to both beginner and intermediate level students. Students will explore a variety of yoga poses to stretch, strengthen, and balance. Classes are gentle, with opportunities for challenge offered intermittently to those who would like to build on their strength. Students can expect to leave class feeling a deeply renewed sense of wellbeing. Meditative, breath awareness is prominently featured in this style of yoga.

What to bring: A yoga mat and comfortable clothing that allow for full range of movement. It can also be helpful bring to water to sip during practice.

All levels welcome: Come for an evening of simple breath and movement. Leave with a renewed sense of wellbeing. "A shift in perspective."

A little about the instructor:

Bess began practicing yoga in 2001. Ten years later, she pursued her interest in teaching yoga. In 2011 she received certification from Kripalu for 200 hours of intensive yoga training. Bess has been teaching Kripalu Flow sequences at the Tinmouth Community Center since 2011.
