The Jewish Community of Greater Stowe (JCOGS) and Mary Dingee Fillmore presents:
“My Addresses in Amsterdam: The Making of a Novel”
Mary Fillmore’s presentation will trace her own journey with Holocaust Resistance and the Netherlands. "An Address in Amsterdam" carries the warning of how fast an open, liberal society can change, and offers the example of an ordinary young woman who decides to take courageous action again and again, even when she is tired and afraid. Mary Fillmore will illustrate her discoveries with passages from her historical novel, "An Address in Amsterdam," and talk about historical fiction as inspired by research.
This lecture is free, accessible, and open to the public.
