The documentary GROWTHBUSTERS:HOOKED ON GROWTH, uses humor to explore what the movie claims is "our culture's almost religious worship of everlasting growth" and the belief that "growth = prosperity". The film explores the notion that concerns about sustainability, climate change, or shrinking resources are generally considered acceptable, while questioning the idea of unlimited growth can sound unpatriotic". The Craftsbury Energy Committee will screen this engaging film on Wednesday, January 18, at 7:00, at the Craftsbury Public Library on the Common following the monthly community dinner at the church next door.
