If you are between 11 and 17 and babysit for younger children this class is for you. Learn how to keep children, and yourself, safe and what to do in an emergency. Learn how to make babysitting a fun, enjoyable and positive experience for everyone. Learn how to be professional and inspire confidence in both parents and children. Finally, earn a recognized certification from one of the top health and safety organizations, American Health and Safety Institute.

Classes will meet Thursday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:30 in the Calais Elementary School library on February 2, 9, 16, 23 and March 9, 16, 23, 30. Successful students will earn certifications in Childcare and Babysitting Safety, CPR, AED and First Aid. Cost is $150.00 for all 8 weeks and siblings who take the class together get a discount.
