MLK Food Drive -- Coming Door to Door Monday
In celebration of Martin Luther King Day, students from Grades 7--12 from Lake Champlain Waldorf School will be collecting non-perishable goods for the Shelburne Food Shelf and the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf this Monday. Please consider giving generously, and if you are not going to be home, feel free to leave your donations in a bag by your front door. They will be collecting non-perishable food items as well as toiletries, pet food, and diapers and wipes.
The students will be canvassing the following locations in Charlotte: Church Hill Rd. up to Homestead Dr., the neighborhoods along Lake Rd., Ferry Rd., and Greenbush (from Orchard Rd. to the Old Lantern), Nature's Way, Crosswind Dr. and Sanctuary Ln.
You can also feel free to drop off donations at Lake Champlain Waldorf High School: 122 Bostwick Road, Shelburne. Questions? Contact Danielle Drogalis at (802) 495-0834 ext. 104. Thanks for supporting the efforts of the students and our neighbors who rely on the Food Shelf!
