Hi Neighbors,

The Freaky 5K Trail Race is this Sunday! Have you registered yet? All proceeds support the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps and vital programming in environmental conservation and youth development within the state.

- This is a timed race with prizes.
- Time to beat is 21:32
- As a Halloween themed event, costumes encouraged - we have prizes for costumes too.
- And the costume to out-do this year is a one-armed lumberjack with a chainsaw!

The Second Annual "Freaky 5K Trail Race" will be held on Sunday, October 27th at 10:00 AM, at the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps in Richmond. This is the beautiful red barn on Route 2 just east of Richmond village. The race will take you through farmland and conserved woods.

Registration is $35 ($25 for students and VYCC alumni). This gets you a bib, goodie bag, fleece headband, and refreshments afterwards: Skinny Pancake will be serving up delicious crepes! Find more info and register at www.vycc.org/5K.
