Central Vermont's women's a cappella chorus, the Barre-Tones, is holding its guest night on Monday. Women of all ages and musical abilities are welcome to join in the fun at 6:45 p.m. at the Capital City Grange hall at 6612 Vt. Rte. 12 in Montpelier. Carpools may be available upon request.
The 30-plus members of the Barre-Tones chorus perform music in the barbershop style. Attending a guest night is a great opportunity to meet women from across central and northern Vermont and learn about this unique style of performing. Music- reading ability is not necessary, though a good singing voice is required.
