The Shrewsbury Conservation Commission Presents a Walk and Talk with the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department's-Wildlife Management Program Manager, Scott Darling about Winter Deer Yards in Shrewsbury Saturday, February 11th 9-11 a.m.

Meet at the Town Hall and carpool to either the Copperas Hill deer wintering area or the Spring Lake Road deer yard.

We will snowshoe into a deer wintering area to observe deer activity, discuss the adaptations deer have made to survive winters in Shrewsbury, and discuss why it is important to manage for deer wintering habitats.
