Hopefully the holidays brought you a chance or two to get to Gillett Pond for some superb skating, hockey or simply walking on the great ice we're seeing this year. The Friends of Gillett Pond, and the Richmond Land Trust are still looking for people to help make sure there's ice for years to come by joining the team working to get the pond a new dam.
Thus we're inviting you to a meeting this Thursday, January 12, at 7 p.m. at Camels Hump Middle School. No matter where your interests and talents lie, we'll find a place for you in a most worthwhile and exciting project -- one which will make a positive impact on our community for years to come. Please try to come. (Go in the school's left entrance, and into the classroom immediately on the left.)
