Camino de Santiago has been one of the world’s great pilgrimages since the Middle Ages with thousands of people making the journey each year for personal or spiritual reasons. There are dozens of routes to take on the “Way” through Portugal, France and Spain, but all routes finish at the shrine of the St. James in the Cathedral of Santiago in northwestern Spain.
In 2016, three groups of Vermonters, unbeknownst to each other, set out on the "Way", all on their own personal journeys. They will tell their stories and show images of their pilgrimages in a special two-hour One World Library Project presentation at the Lawrence Memorial Library in Bristol on Thursday, January 12 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The presenters will speak for one-half hour each and the audience will have time at the end to ask questions. Presenters are:
--David and Elissa Cobb
--Gregor Clark and Gaen Murphree
-- Stevie Spencer
