Charles Burnham, a Vermont licensed landscape architect, will give a talk entitled "High Above Lamoille: The Vintage Trails, Roads, Towns, And Tales Along The Way" on January 11, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Town and Country Resort, Stowe.
This talk will cover aerial photos of Lamoille County from 1941, 1962, and 1973 that are part of the Stowe Historical Society’s collection. These aerial photos show the history of the land use changes from farming and logging to recreation and hospitality industries. They are especially interesting when viewed from the perspective of the behind-the-scenes stories.
This event is co-sponsored by the Stowe Historical Society. The entrance fee for non-members is $5. Reservations are not required. For Information, call Millie Marron at 802-253-9011.
