Hi Folks,

The Hardwick Recreation Committee would like to invite you to a Grand Opening of our new ice rink at Atkins Field on Granite Street. We are gathering from 12-3 this Sunday 1/8 for an open skate and are hoping to have a few volunteers around to help give some skating pointers to beginners. Hot drinks will be provided and guests are encouraged to bring a snack to share. Donations to support Hardwick Recreation projects will be greatly appreciated. Come on out and join us for our first public skate on the rink!

A few notes about general rink use...
The rink is open for the public to use free of charge any time. We ask that you please stay off the rink when the temperatures are above freezing and the ice is soft, as this will damage the surface for others later when it refreezes. Playing pick up hockey on the rink is permitted however we highly encourage helmet use and ask that you please allow room for others to skate if anyone shows up. We have purchased lights and are hoping to organize weekly night skates so stay tuned for updates!
