The Underhill Historical Society and Deborah Rawson Library will host a talk on the Covered Bridges of Vermont on Wednesday, January 11th, 6:30 PM . Local author, Joseph Nelson, will speak at the library on the bridges, past and present, concentrating on those in Chittenden and Lamoille County. The historical society will have on display photos from it's Earl Cross Covered Bridge Collection. Cross, a local photographer, took photos of bridges from over the entire state between 1920-1950. Upon his death the society purchased the collection from his estate. The Fairbanks Museum archived the collection and recently reurned it to the society.
