Two Prince Productions, in collaboration with Bill Reed Voice Studio and Jen and Tim Barden of Spotlight Vermont, will present CALVIN BERGER: A MUSICAL at Spotlight Vermont in South Burlington with performances on Friday, January 13 at 7:30pm, Saturday, January 14 at 7:30pm and Sunday, January 15 at 4pm and 7pm. Calvin Berger is a musical with book, lyrics, and music written by Barry Wyner and is loosely based on Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac. The timeless story of Cyrano de Bergerac is one of the most famous romances of all time. Calvin Berger cleverly retells this story of unrequited feelings, love notes and physical insecurity in the high school setting. The musical stars local high school students Jonathan Barden (Colchester High School), Sam Dickin (Rice Memorial High School), Victoria Fearn (South Burlington High School) and Rebecca Gardner (South Burlington High School), with artistic direction by Gina Fearn and music direction by Randal Pierce.

Sally Olson, managing director at Bill Reed Voice Studio, will implement all show promotion and publicity. All proceeds from this production will benefit Special Olympics Vermont through the organization’s Penguin Plunge event.
