Anatomy and Functional Movement- a Yoga Workshop

Past event
Jan 7, 2017, 1 to 3 PM

Part 1 of a 3 part series in a therapeutic approach to yoga. You can come to one or all three!

Each of these two-hour workshops led by esteemed yoga teacher, Margaret Pitkin, will focus on anatomy and functional movement in a different region of the human body. Through exploration of structure and function we will address question such as; “How is this part of the body meant to move? How can freedom of movement be enhanced? What is the best means of strengthening and creating stability in this region?”

This is a great way to address any ailments you may be having in the body or just empowering yourself and knowledge of the body and how to move it more safely.

Bring your pencil, paper and yoga mat and get ready to geek out on anatomy and move around in some new ways!

ALL levels welcome. $30 per workshop or $80 for all 3!
