Your assistance is kindly requested this evening, Wed. Jan. 4, starting at 5:30 PM, for the final push to get the larger ice rink completed in Calahan Park (on top of the basketball court next to the tennis courts). Here's what chief rink master John says...

"It’s hard to believe cold is on the way with this morning’s temps. But a deep freeze is heading this way. We are looking for as many hands as possible to hold down the liner while we seam it tonight and add water. If all goes well, the rink could be ready for Sunday. We are looking for a 5:30 start time. There is also a pile of loaner skates to reorganize and get ready to be re-sharpened. Once the plastic is down, while the rink is flooding we will put snow fencing around the perimeter to deter people from getting on prematurely. (your cordless drill we be handy)."
