On sunday Jan 15 from 1-5 p.m, Maureen Short will host a retreat for women with the non-physical spiritual Grandmothers of the 8 Sacred Directions. It will be in the Lightheart Sanctuary, sacred space in New Haven. This is a beautiful ceremony passed orally through women, Native American & Celtic in feel but cross-cultural and inclusive. We meditate, sing, share and journey to a drumbeat to a Grandmother for guidance, healing, wisdom, comfort and grounding. This is our 11th year. Cost is by donation.
