Aikido Intro workshop on Saturday, January 7th

Discover the beautiful and powerful Japanese martial art of Aikido. This workshop introduces adults to a dynamic martial art that emphasizes circular movement, physical conditioning, and pinning and throwing techniques. The workshop includes a demonstration of Aikido weapons practice and a discussion of the philosophy of Aikido. Learn how Aikido cultivates core power, relaxation and flexibility.
Workshop fee of $15 can be applied towards the cost of membership if you choose to join. 1-2:15pm on Saturday, January 7th.

Classes for adults and teens 7 days a week!
We also offer classes for youth ages 7-12 three days a week.
Aikido training teaches children how to become calm under stress and learn bully awareness and prevention skills. It is a non-competitive martial art that emphasizes circular evasions rather than strikes or kicks. Located in Burlington, Vermont, Aikido of Champlain Valley is federal non-profit organization, offering scholarships for low income youth ages 7-17.
