Dear Neighbors,

Happy New Year!

I’m writing to let you know about a great non-profit organization that I’ve been involved with for the past nine years. It’s a great group of people, I’ve learned a great deal about myself and become more flexible and fit. We are having a new year intro workshop and would love for you to join us. Please email me with questions. Details below.

Aikido Intro workshop on Saturday, January 7th
Aikido of Champlain Valley
257 Pine Street, Burlington

Discover the beautiful and powerful Japanese martial art of Aikido. This workshop introduces adults to a dynamic martial art that emphasizes circular movement, physical conditioning, and pinning and throwing techniques. The workshop includes a demonstration of Aikido weapons practice and a discussion of the philosophy of Aikido. Learn how aikido cultivates core power, relaxation and flexibility.

Workshop fee of $15 can be applied towards the cost of membership if you choose to join. 1-2:15pm on Saturday, January 7th.
Pre-registration encouraged: please call 802-951-8900 or by e-mail: dojo@burlingtonaikido.org

Classes for adults and teens 7 days a week!

We also offer classes for youth ages 7-12 three days a week.

Aikido training teaches children how to become calm under stress and learn bully awareness and prevention skills. It is a non-competitive martial art that emphasizes circular evasions rather than strikes or kicks. Located in Burlington, Vermont, Aikido of Champlain Valley is federal non-profit organization, offering scholarships for low income youth ages 7-17.

Thanks,

Geo
