The Yule Ball, a formal, creative black-tie dance with both Contra dancing and English Country dancing is being brought to you by The Way of the Bard Group this Friday, January 6 from 7-11 pm at the Elley Long Music Center in Colchester. Both the callers and the band are high-energy fun! Music by Night Tree, Contra called by Mary Wesley, ECD called by Adina Gordon. There will be delicious treats, and prizes for the best, or most creatively dressed couples. Advanced tickets are online at Treewild.org for $25 individual and $40 per couple ($30/$50 at the door). Please spread the word! We want to fill up the Elley Long ballroom with dancers! There will be a new dancer introduction from 7-7:30 pm so if you've been wanting to get out and try this sort of thing, this is a great opportunity.
