Sunday at the Community Church

THE URGENCY OF THE ‘NOW’ will be Pastor Mathews’ New Year’s Sunday message. Everyone is confronted with the sheer unpredictability of life. The Bible calls for us to understand the brevity of life and to live it to the fullest, while realizing God's time and purposes. The time we have in the here and now becomes our spiritual building blocks. Procrastination destroys God's purposes and clogs spiritual growth. As we begin this year, let us be guided by the urgency of the now. Let our lives as an individual, family, and church be defined by what Jesus wants accomplished in His time and purpose. How are we going to align our worldly priorities to accomplish that? (Ecclesiastes 3:1-10 and 2 Timothy 4: 9,11,13,21)

We call it SOUP SUNDAY. This Sunday begins our winter tradition of sharing a potluck of soups and bread, immediately following each week’s time of worship. If you make it to the worship gathering, we hope you will also stay for this social event, filled with good food and conversation.

The Middletown Springs Community Church welcomes everyone to its 10 am Sunday Worship gathering. During the service, there is childcare for infants and toddlers, and Children’s Church for kids up to grade six. Pastor Mathews can be reached at 235-2386 or mscchurch@gmail.com Website: www.middletownspringscommunitychurch.org and on Facebook..
