The Benefit concert is this week!
The Green Mountain Swing Band will be performing a concert on Thursday 10/24 at 7:00 PM in the BRMS gym to benefit the BRMS music department.
Admission is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. BRMS music students get in for free.
There will be an area open in front of the stage for anyone who would like to dance or people can sit and watch the concert.
The performance will be about an hour. The program will be a historical perspective of big band music featuring music from the 1920's down to the present day.
The Green Mountain Swing Band is a 17 piece big band and several local musicians play with the group: Mike Lawlor and Bob Stone on trumpet, Steve Peery on bass and I play piano.
