Not feeling particularly merry this holiday season? Christmas can be romanticized to the point of forgetting that baby Jesus was born into a very troubled world. 2016 has been a year of great loss for the Craftsbury community. On the winter solstice, the Longest Night Worship Service can help us remember that amid the darkness there is hope. We gather in candlelight to sing hymns, read scripture, and pray together. In the Christmas season, there is a place even for sadness and sorrow. Join with Church on the Common, East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church and the United Church in Greensboro to claim the hope of the light shining in the darkness.
