Hello again!

After our brief break Grow Your Own is back with another great, FREE workshop.

Grow Your Own will host a workshop in Hardwick on natural medicines on January 4 led by Sasha McGarvey of Deep Root Apothecary. This session will be an exploration of medicinal herbs for cold and flu season. The hands-on workshop will be free of charge. It will be held at the Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) at 140 Junction Road from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will include a shared meal. There will be an opportunity to share ideas and recipes for natural remedies. Grow Your Own is a project of the Hardwick Area Food Pantry, NEK Kids on the Move and CAE. Children are welcome. Pre-registration is mandatory by calling (802) 472-5940 by Wednesday, January 4. The mission of Grow Your Own is to increase food independence, better health and wellbeing through shared knowledge and experience.
