The United Church of Craftsbury (The Church on the Common) will present a re-enactment of the first Christmas, the story of the birth of Jesus, told in Scripture reading and Christmas carols this Sunday Dec. 18th. Children and adults will participate as angels, shepherds, wise men, Mary, Joseph, innkeeper, and all other characters in the story. All are welcome to attend, either as spectators in the pews or as participants in the pageant. We have plenty of angel and shepherd costumes. The pageant will occur during the regular Sunday morning worship service which runs from ten until eleven. Following the service, everyone is invited downstairs for birthday cake in honor of the birth of Jesus.
