Troop 30308 is dedicating A memorial Bench for our late girl scout leader Rachel Boyers at Sand hill park by the pool. In her memory and part of earning the community badge the girls are collecting new hats gloves and blankets. The bench is set so that kids can sit on it and wait to be picked up (during the summer of course :) as it faces out towards the road. Stop by have a seat (ok it might be a bit chilly) and drop off items that will help keep people warm and warm your heart.

We thank everyone who has purchased baked goods and girl scout cookies from our troop to help raise the money to purchase this lovely bench. We thank Rachels friend Chrissy, Rachel's mom, Bianchi Stone Crafters for donating their time to set the bench and of course we thank Rachel for being such a great person that she was.

The dedication is a happy fun occasion and we are hoping to have a few baked goods to spoil our lunches :)
