Lucy's House for the Prevention of Homeless Pets is holding an event at Brownell Library in Essex Junction from 11-1 on December 10th to make pet toys to support keeping pets in their homes. Join us to make catnip sock toys for cats or tug toys for dogs. No skills required and families are welcome. Lucy's House is all volunteer and supports keeping 1200 pets a month in their homes through pet food donations and works with local food shelves to provide them with pet food.

We will also have some silent auction items to sell during this time. Can't come - consider donating a pet toy or bag of food or treats at Price Chopper in Essex or at Petit Brook Vet Clinic on the Milton/Colchester line or At&T in Williston. We need 100 more toys and bags of treats to help us with this effort.
