This year the Holiday Project will be held on Saturday December 17th at St Theresa’s Parish in Hyde Park.

1. Parent needs to sign up with Wendy prior to the event. 888-5229 (Lamoille Family Center)

2. Families must live in Lamoille County and have custody of their children.

3. 2 hours community service is required to participate. Parents need to provide a document stating where and what they did for service and have it signed and dated by the person they do community service for. Baby sitting or helping a relative does not count.
Some places to volunteer: community kitchens, food shelves, churches, libraries, class rooms, school sporting events, field trips, fundraising, Scouts or 4-H, Headstart, Community Action, Second Chance, Animal League, elderly hospice.

4. Children age newborn thru 12 years old qualify.

5. Deadline to sign up is Friday December 9th.

Parents will arrive at St. Theresa’s parish at the time agreed upon, with community service slip, (without children.)
An “elf” will accompany the parent during the entire time they “shop” for their child/children.

Parents will receive for each child:

Hat and mittens
Books
A game or puzzle (sometimes both, depending on inventory)
2-3 age appropriate toys
Stocking Stuffers

Gift wrapping is available at the event.
