Thanks to everyone who visited our Alternative Gift Fair this past Sunday at the United Church of Underhill. We will having a "pop up shop" this Thursday from 5-6:30PM with the remaining gifts, coffee, tea, cocoa, and more! We will be in the upstairs room near the back door of the church (closest to the parking lot).

What is an Alternative Gift Pop Up Shop? It is a chance for you to shop close to home and:
* Purchase fair trade gifts from around the world made by artisans and farmers who are paid fairly and treated with respect, providing the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty
* Support a number of local, national, and international nonprofit organizations by making contributions in honor of friends and family in lieu of a traditional holiday gift.

We will have gifts and honor cards from many of the local, national, and international organizations supported by the United Church of Underhill, including:
COTS (Committee on Temporary Shelter)
Church World Service
Dismas of Vermont
Essex-Jericho-Underhill Ecumenical Food Shelf
Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity
Re-Member
Gifts from around the world from SERRV.org
Equal Exchange coffee, tea, cocoa and chocolate
