This Friday, December 9th is the monthly Free Community Supper at the Congregational Church, 24 South St. South Hero. This month is a little different...we are asking people to bring a dish to share if you can...a potluck free supper. Enjoy a meal and fellowship and listen to stories of the fire that destroyed the church 40 years ago - 1976! The fire and rebuild are important threads in the fabric of the church and the Island community, bringing together Island neighbors as fires seem to do. Whether or not you were here then, or remember the fire, or didn't know about the fire, we welcome you to join us for our monthly meal together. Come in out of the cold and take a break from the busyness of the season. Friday, 5:30-7:00pm. See you there! And come even if you aren't able to bring something.
