Here's your chance to dispose of left-over and out of date prescription (and non-prescription) medicines and other health-related supplements that are languishing in your cupboards and medicine cabinets, the stuff you didn't need to take, stopped taking because you were allergic to it, or belonged to a whatever. . . . (I'll be clearing out bunches of stuff at our house!). Many of these are toxic to the environment in one way or another if dumped down the toilet or thrown into the landfill. The closest places for Guilford residents are the downtown Brattleboro Police Station and the Vt. State Police Barracks in West Brattleboro. Otherwise, neighboring folks can go to the Windham County Sheriff's office in Newfane or the Bellows Falls and Dover police stations.
