Friends of the Water Street River Park

Past event

A small group calling ourselves “Friends of the Water Street River Park” has been meeting informally to discuss our visions of the new park. There is a Facebook page: Trust Fund for the River Park. It speaks to the history of the park project. Included is a list of the donations received, up to date, by graduates of Northfield High School who have committed to “Giving back to our Town.
Because the deadline is getting close to finalizing the architectural landscape we are inviting interested community members to gather and brainstorm our ideas for the Park. These are many restrictions on what can be placed on the property. We will explain this.
Our Committee includes the following: Joe Fiarkowski, Jay and Sally Pedley, Brad Denny, Alicia and Andy Hird and Anne Donahue, representing the Town as well as the Rotary Club.
The meeting will be held in the Conference Room of the Municipal Office, at 5:30 pm on Friday, December 9.
A RSVP would be appreciated so we can prepare seating. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Sally Pedley
