The OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) presentation for this week will be given by John Cohn, an IBM Fellow and Chief Scientist. It is entitled ''Science for a simple sustainable life.'' John is a self-proclaimed 'mad scientist' with a passion for science and sustainability, and deep concern with the overlap of science, art and culture. Come hear what he has to say! Just to remind you, the Osher presentations last about an hour, and then there is a short Q & A session, then refreshments. The presentations are geared for folks over 50, but anyone can come, even school groups! The talk will be at the Aldrich Public Library in Barre. A $5.00 donation is suggested for non-members.
